These About Blanks original sketch- notebooks are unique, one of a kind pieces, handmade from old book covers.
By removing the old inner works and refilling the covers with paper from responsible sources, new notebooks are created. ‘Not a book: A notebook!’
The notebooks are made in a social employment facility, where people with a disability or poor job prospects can get a job and through this participate in society.
The (unlined) paper has a light cream shade and the texture makes it perfect for sketching and making notes.
